Works on The National Flood Relief Project have now reached another phase.  Hence, Triq in-Naxxar between Triq Papa Piju XII and Papa Urbanu VIII will be closed to vehicular traffic from tomorrow 21st April at 6am.  These works are scheduled to be completed by the 29th April.

However,  access will be available to vehicular traffic proceeding from Mosta towards Valletta. Traffic coming from Triq il-Wied Birkirkara will be diverted onto Triq il- Fuħħarin and onto Triq Ganu to reach Birkirkara Bypass.  Traffic may also proceed to Triq il-Wied towards Ħal Balzan to reach Ħal Lija roundabout.

Public transport will be diverted onto Triq il-Wied and then to Ħal Lija roundabout to proceed with the normal route.

Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and to follow signage on site.
