Tobruk charge d'affaires Al Habib Al min has refused to share his views on the migrant tragedy that has occurred over the weekend, with some 900 migrants losing their life off the coast of Libya. The Malta Independent today requested comments from the Tobruk charge d'Affaires in Malta Al Habib Al min, who is recognized by the Maltese government. When contacted, a spokesman for Mr Al min said that he does not give comments to the media. In the past this newspaper tried several times to get his comments on the situation in Libya, the recognition between the Tobruk and Tripoli embassy and the migration problem. His comments would have shed some more light on the situation. In a week more than 15,000 migrants tried to cross from Libya to Europe, with more than 11,000 migrants saved at sea but in two separate incidents around 1,300 lives were lost.
