The chairman of the European People’s Party, Manfred Weber, congratulated the PN’s leader Simon Busuttil for the results achieved in the local council elections a few days ago.

In comments from Brusells, Mr Weber explained that the PN, led by Dr Busuttil has managed to narrow the gap by half. “ This is an important step forward for the party to regain the electorate’s trust,” he said.

The chairperson praised the work of Dr Busuttil, saying that there is great chance that he will be the next Prime Minister of Malta.
