The Ministry for Health and Energy has confirmed the story revealed by The Malta Independent that Paul Pace has been given a top post at the ministry.
In a statement issued this afternoon, the government said that Mr Pace has been appointed ‘advisor of the nursing deployment’, saying that he has a vast experience in the nursing sector, including nine years as president of the nursing union, MUMN. He also has experience in the international networking of nurses and is a member of the board of the international council of nurses.
In the upcoming years, the government is expected to employ a large number of nurses within the medical sector, because of projects announced recently, and Mr Pace is expected to serve as advisor for such employment.
