A 27-year-old Polish diver died today while practising his sport at Cirkewwa, the police said.
The accident happened at 12.45pm. The man was given medical assistance by people who were on site and later by a medical team, to no avail.
Magistrate Aaron Bugeja is holding an inquiry.
