Two brothers today denied assaulting and injuring a warden in Zejtun over an illegal parking dispute.

Clayton Muscat, 28, from Zejtun and Lawrence Muscat, 34, from Fgura were charged with yesterday assaulting and slightly injuring a public official and causing damages amounting to no more than €250.

Magistrate Antonio Micallef Trigona granted the two men bail against a personal guarantee of €5,000 each.

Inspector Johann Fenech prosecuted.

Lawyers Keith Borg and Carlos Bugeja appeared for the accused.
