On the 28th anniversary of the death of Mgr Michael Azzopardi, the founder of the Dar tal-Providenza, the director of the home, Fr Martin Micallef, formally presented Archbishop Charles Scicluna with a request to open proceedings for the beatification and canonisation of Mgr Azzopardi.
