Two Libyans and a 15-year-old Maltese youth were remanded in custody after pleading not guilty to charges of holding two women at knife-point in Gzira and threatening them.

The two men are 19 and 22 years old.

All three were arraigned before Magistrate C. Galea and charged with theft and holding the two women against their will, causing an injury to one of the women and of breaching bail conditions.
