Social Dialogue Minister Helena Dalli today distributed a total of €900,000 in financial aid to a number of NGOs.

The funds are distributed to non-governmental organisations twice a year. Dr Dalli thanked the NGO’s for their sterling work towards civil society.

She said that the government is committed to continue to support such organisations so that such organisations continue to implement their projects in the community.

The organisations which benefitted from the funds are:  Caritas, Aditus Foundation, Kana Movement, Dar il-Kaptan, Dar Merħba Bik, Dar Osanna Pia, Fondazzjoni Nazareth, Dar Fra Diegu, Inspire, SOS Malta, Fondazzjoni Jean Antide, Fondazzjoni Suret il-Bniedem, Fondazzjoni Richmond, Dar Jeanne Antide, Malta Autism Centre, MGRM, Mid-Dlam għad-Dawl, Paola Freire Institute, WAW Support Group, Torball and Catholic Institute.
