Chapman Taylor of Milan have admitted mistakenly publishing plans for a cruise liner terminal and luxury complex in Qala, Gozo, when the project is still in its adjudication process.

The architectural firm’s website carried an article on the project together with designs, but the announcement turned out to be a “big mistake” according to a company spokesman, who said that the information was supposed to remain within the company.

The government issued a call for proposals for the development of an unused quarry in Gozo, and only one submission was made, that of Kalamarine Developments Consortium, who are the clients of Chapman Taylor.

But no decision has as yet been made by the government – which has so far remained silent on the revelation.
