A 40-year-old man, born in Turkey and resident in San Gwann, is in critical condition after being stabbed following an argument in Gzira on Saturday evening.

The police said that at 9.45pm, the man was stabbed with a pointed instrument. He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital where he was found to be in critical condition.

A man is helping the police in their investigations.
