Hotel Phoenicia promoted to TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame

Malta's longest-established 5-star hotel, Hotel Phoenicia, has racked-up a 5th consecutive TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award and has been elected into TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame. Continuing its run as a hospitality leader within Malta's tourism industry, the Phoenicia has received hundreds of positive reviews on TripAdvisor and continues to enjoy strong support on the world's biggest travel portal.

The hotel's flagship restaurant The Pegasus has again also won the coveted 2015 Excellence award. The restaurant is one of Malta's most awarded, having recently attracted a FestaVico Silver Spoon.

Food and Beverage Manager Francesco Perricone said, "It is the highest honour we could achieve at Pegasus because we know it comes from the efforts of our guests who have taken the time to let others know about their experience. We are humbled daily by their words of praise and strive to sustain the level of service that people have come to expect from us. The Certificate of Excellence is always a reminder that we need to continue to work hard to provide a unique dining experience"

The prestigious 'Certificate of Excellence' celebrates the accommodations, attractions and eateries that make perfect trips possible. TripAdvisor's 'Certificate of Excellence' award recognises establishments like the Phoenicia that consistently earn highly positive TripAdvisor reviews from travellers. 

To celebrate the Certificate of Excellence's 5-year anniversary, properties that have won the award all five years are inducted into TripAdvisor's Hall of Fame. Of all winners this year, only 9% have qualified for the Hall of Fame by winning the award five years running.
