A number of plots have been expropriated within the Citadel in Gozo over the past two years.
One 34m2 area plot was expropriated for €60,000.
The other plots are as follows:
Plot A - Area 167m2 circa €22,000
Plot B - Area 914m2 circa €125,000
Plot C - Area 487m2 circa €67,000
Plot D - Area 692m2 circa €94,000
Plot E - Area 1054m2 circa €144,000
Plot F - Area 152 m2 circa €21,000
The information was tabled by Gozo Minister Anton Refalo, following a Parliamentary Question by Dr Chris Said.
Minister Refalo also said that the land includes areas of archaeological and historical importance, and occurred as was recommended within the Citadel Masterplan in 2010.
