A 34-year-old man was found dead in his home in Valletta on Saturday night, the police said in a statement. The Police said that neighbours informed them that the man had not been seen for some days and were worried that something might have happened to him.

The police entered a residence in Triq San Nikola at 8pm on Saturday night and found the body of a man in one of the rooms. The body was decomposing and was taken to the Mater Dei mortuary for an autopsy. Duty magistrate Neville Camilleri ordered an inquiry.
