Alfred Attard, 49, of Cospicua, today was kept in preventive custody after he was arraigned over his alleged involvement in a Mosta home burglary.

The burglary took place last Sunday. Mr Attard pleaded not guilty of stealing from the home of an 81-year-old woman.

He also pleaded not guilty to causing damage to the property.

Police Inspector Nicholas Vella prosecuted while Stephanie Abela appeared on behalf of Mr Attard.
