A press conference was held this afternoon at the Corinthia Palace Attard during which the winning number of the ONE MILLION COMPETITION held during this year's MFCC Malta Trade Fair was announced.

The number is 8719624. The winner is kindly asked to come forward and claim the prize either by calling personally at the MFCC offices on Level One, Millennium Stand Ta' Qali between 09:00hrs and 16:30hrs, or send an email on email address [email protected], or call telephone 99990371 between 09:30hrs - 16:00hrs. The winner must claim the prize by noon (12:00hrs) of Thursday 9th July.

The sealed secure envelope containing the number was held in a safe throughout the fair and the number was revealed today. Ms Rachel Vella opened the envelope that held the number, in the presence of the press and other individuals. This was a competition held in collaboration with Rocs Group during this year's MFCC Malta Trade Fair.

The fair came to an end last Sunday the 5th of July and was a great success. Exhibitors are very happy with the sales and enquiries, and visitors appreciated the embellished atmosphere and also the variety of goods and services offered, said Mr. Gerald Borg MFCC's Managing Director. Additional to the above first time ever opportunity, there were other prizes and gifts. MFCC thanked all those who collaborated with them to ensure this year's success.

MFCC thanked Frank Borda Ltd, with whom they collaborated for the Xirja prize. There were 11 winners for this extraordinary prize, they each won the value of €2600 worth of grocery shopping from Gala Supermarket, totalling €28,600. The winners are: Maria Micallef, Carmel Scicluna, Joe Cutajar, Joseph Chetcuti, Joanne Habesh, Monica Borg, Maria Egorova, Francis Mizzi, Christian Caruana, Doris Sammut and Georgette Mizzi. This prize was drawn daily.

Visitors to the fair also have the opportunity to go on a trip to Comino with the entrance ticket. This offer was made possible through the joint collaboration with Captain Morgan.
