Home Affairs Minister Carmelo Abela, in response to questions in Parliament, noted that 15 police officers have been charged in Court since 2013.

The questions were posed by PN MP Carm Mifsud Bonnici.

In 2013, there were 4 police officials, 5 officials in 2014 and 6 officials in 2015.

The accusations, among others, include dangerous driving, tampering with evidence, aggrevated theft, causing injuries, distribution of illegal votes and corruption.
