As many as five tremors were felt in Malta especially in the South of Malta today.

The first tremor, measured as 1.9 magnitude was felt at 10.42am; the second, at 1.41pm measured 2.3; the third at 3.13pm and measured 2.6; the fourth at 3.54pm and measured 2.7 and the latest, and biggest so far, at 5.13pm and measured 3.3 on the Richter scale.

The tremors were felt mainly by people on the southern coast and the epicentre seems to have been out at sea.
