Horizon's latest publication Artisti mill-Qrib by Laurence Mizzi is a collection of personal interviews with a number of painters, sculptors and ceramists that the author had carried out between 1988 and 1997. Most of these artists are renowned with some of them even having made a name for themselves abroad. The line-up includes Josef Kalleya, Vincent Apap, Carmenu Mangion, Esprit Barthet, Frank Portelli, Harry Alden, Gabriel Caruana, Alfred Camilleri Cauchi and Ġanni Pace, among others.

The interviews share insights both on the artists' personal lives as well as their art.

The book is further enriched with photographic material of the artists and their works with a short synopsis on collective and personal exhibitions that the artists held over the years.
