Air Supply in concert and in aid of Caritas Malta

Monday, 24 August 2015, 14:45 Last update: about 10 years ago

Last May, CMC Promotions was instrumental in appealing to all those present for the Marco Masini concert to give a donation by means of an SMS in aid of Caritas Malta. This initiative was undertaken during a fund-raising marathon transmission on Malta's national television station.

CMC Promotions is proud to announce that it has embarked on another fund-raising initiative, this time during the concert by the Australian duo of international fame Air Supply at the MFCC, Ta' Qali on 28 August.

CMC Promotions has decided to offer free of charge parking on the day of the concert, but a donation in aid of Caritas Malta would be much appreciated. Irrespective of the amount of money donated, this would be considered of great importance to Caritas Malta, an organisation synonymous with the rehabilitation of drug abusers and also for other services provided free of charge.

On the day of Air Supply's concert, Caritas Malta volunteers, wearing an identification tag or T-shirt, will be at the car park collecting the donations. CMC Promotions appeals for generosity, stressing that their donation is an invaluable contribution to the coffers of an organisation which is contributing immensely to the wellbeing of society.

CMC Promotions clearly wants to emphasise its total commitment against drugs and alcohol abuse during its activities. The take home message is that while the general public is being entertained, they must also remember the vulnerable persons who need the help of Caritas Malta all year round. Caritas Malta needs strong financial support to cover its mission.
