47-year-old man, residing in Birkirkara has been hospitalised following a traffic accident in Regional road, St Venera. The man was driving a mini-bus, when for an unknown reason it overturned. The van ended up facing the wrong way after toppling over onto its side.

The police confirmed that the northbound lanes were closed to traffic but said that it should be reopened soon seeing that no one was injured in the accident.
