Labour MPs Godfrey and Marlene Farrugia are inviting people over to their home in Qrendi as a sign of gratitude for the solidarity they have been shown at a difficult time.
Writing on Facebook, Labour Whip Godfrey Farrugia said that “Marlene and I would like to thank you for the support you have been showing us at a difficult time.”
“On Saturday, we would like to invite to our home in Qrendi to have a cup of tea together between 4.30 and 6.30pm”.
Godfrey Farrugia last month underwent a delicate surgery after he was diagnosed with having an aggressive form of prostate cancer. He was back to his normal duties in Parliament on Monday.
