The Malta Union of Midwives and Nurses thanked all nurses who were involved in the treatment of the people who were injured in the Paqpaqli ghall-Istrina accident last Sunday.

Twenty-eight persons were injured when a supercar driven at speed crashed into the crowd.

The MUMN specifically thanked the nurses at the Emergency Department, Main Operating Theatres, general wards and health centres.

The union expressed its solidarity with the victims as well as with President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca, urging her to continue her sterling work.
