A man who collapsed during an argument at the Malta International Airport has died, the police said.
On Monday, the police were informed that their assistance was required in one of the airport car parks.
The Police went immediately on site and found a man on the ground being given first aid. Preliminary investigations revealed that an argument took place between two men - a 35-year-old, residing in Mqabba and a 34-year-old who lives in Fgura.
Apparently the 35-year-old collapsed, the police. He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital where he was certified as being in danger of loss of life. He died later.
It is not clear whether the 35-year-old collapsed as a result of the argument.
The other man is being questioned by the Police.
A Magisterial Inquiry has been appointed into the case.
Police investigations are under way.
