Home Affairs Minister Carmelo Abela said that 775 minors under the age of 16 have been charged in court since 2008.

Answering a parliamentary question put by PL MP Silvio Schembri, Mr Abela said that the charges included homicide, theft, violence, rowdy behaviour, threats and personal violence, prostitution, abusive use of telephones, breach of traffic regulations, breach of smoking regulations, and littering.
