President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca is in London to visit Maltese patients who are undergoing treatment there. 

The President’s commitments today started with a Mass at the Puttinu Cares apartments, where 15 Maltese patients are staying.

Afterwards, Dr Coleiro Preca and Mrs Preca spent some time with each of the patients and their families.

The President was grateful for the way the patients and their families shared their stories, as this will help the Community Chest Fund she presides to improve the service given.

The President also visited the Royal Marsden Hospital where five Maltese patients are receiving treatment, including girls aged six and 12. 

In the next few days she will visit other hospitals to meet other Maltese patients.
