A 12-year-old girl was injured this afternoon when the school van she was a passenger in was involved in a crash with two other cars, the police said.

She was taken to hospital for treatment but her injuries are not believed to be serious.

The accident, on the Regional Road near the skate park, involved the school van driven by a 45-year-old of Senglea, an Isuzu driven by a 31-year-old of San Gwann and a Land Rover driven by a 40-year-old of Birkirkara.
