President Marie Louise Coleiro collected donations for L-Istrina yesterday evening in Gozo.

She visited a number of localities, including Qala, where she met the Mayor and inhabitants inside the Parish Church. She was presented with a donation by the local council and the parish priest. She also visited Nadur and met council members. She was presented with donations by the local Nadur youngsters football club as well as representatives from both political parties in the locality.

She thanked the Nadur and Qala residents for their contributions, and said she is convinced that this year, Istrina would yet again be an occasion which shows just how much the Maltese and Gozitan people help those who need it.
