For 26 weeks in the past year, there was not one single medicine which was out of stock, parliamentary secretary Chris Fearne said.
In the other weeks, the amount of out-of-stock medicines was less than five, he added during an interview on One Radio.
A few years ago, out-of-stock medicines were the order of the day and, in one particular week in 2009, the number reached 690. Today, this is no longer an issue, Mr Fearne said.
