Glenn Bedingfield's cousin rose to manager from executive secretary in two and a half years

Monday, 18 January 2016, 21:54 Last update: about 9 years ago

Speaking on the Adjournment in Parliament this evening, PN MP Antoine Borg claimed, without mentioning him by name, that a cousin of Glenn Bedingfield has been appointed manager at MTA in charge of EU funds after a rapid promotion from executive secretary at MTA in just two and a half years.

Other persons at MTA who were better qualified have been left by the wayside.

Mr Borg further claimed that the HR Director at MTA is ineffective and everything is done by the top management.

He also claimed that the Minister for Tourism has been through three chiefs of staff and each one who left has been given a post with undisclosed package at MTA.

Finally, he asked if it is true that MTA is going to relocate to Smart City.
