Us, Greece and the rest

Sunday, 7 February 2016, 09:00 Last update: about 9 years ago

Further to my contributions to your paper on 15th July covering the developments in Greece, Yanis Varoufakis had, inter alia, so much to say recently:

1.    "We had an opportunity to reboot the eurozone ... to move away from the complacency and the constant denial that there is a massive architectural fault line which is threatening the whole European Union process...

2.    there's no doubt that if we don't change the architecture the eurozone has no future

3.     my greatest fear is that the eurozone will not survive

4.    e if it doesn't, the centrifugal forces that will be unleashed will  destroy the EU

5.    which will be catastrophic not just for Europe but the whole global economy.
