The Nationalist Party is asking whether the police are investigating Castille regarding the Gaffarena scandal.

In a press conference this afternoon held at the PN headquarters, Deputy Leader Beppe Fenech Adami said that the Prime Minister is hoping that the Gaffarena scandal is completely forgotten.

He said there were a series of questions regarding this case that were not answered by the government or Joseph Muscat.

"When did Joseph Muscat get to know about this deal? Is the Police investigating Castille?"

Without hinting that the Nationalist Party has some sort of information about the matter, Fenech Adami asked if anyone, if yes, who did Gaffarena give money to to make the €3.5 million bargain.

He insists that this is a scandal bred in Castille.

The PN went on saying that this is the most corrupt government in the political history of Malta.
