Business Intelligence conference focuses on how to profit from data

Four speakers will give their experiences on Business Intelligence and its application in various sectors at a half-day conference organised by LEAD Training Services and Sagalytics. The theme of the conference, part of the Malta Business Intelligence series is: 'Data to information - information to profit'.

The conference will focus on how to improve the use of new technologies, giving participants a fresh view on how to use Business Intelligence theory, methodologies and processes to improve their chances of success.

During this one-of-a-kind conference senior managers involved in finance, operations and marketing will also learn how to reinvent their skills to deliver the analytical advantage that their organisations need to identify new opportunities.

Joshua Zammit, Deputy Chairman of Malta Industrial Parks and CEO of a leading catering firm, will share his views on how to use data in business decision making. A BI case study on Predictive Modelling will be given by Vincent Marmara, a Statistician and Researcher by profession who is the President of the Mala Statistics and Operations Research Organisation.

Colin Pace, an IT graduate, will give an insight into BI applied to business from the IT perspective and Etienne Borg Cardona, CEO of a leading group of companies, will speak about how to implement Business Intelligence in local enterprises.

The conference is being held at the Microsoft Innovation Centre, Skyparks, Luqa, on 18 March, 2016, from 8.30 a.m. to 1.15 p.m. Participants will be given a certificate of attendance.
