A Libyan man was grievously injured today when a bus was driven over his foot at the Valletta bus terminus, the police said.

The accident took place at 1.10pm. The man, 68, who resides in Qormi, was taken to hospital for treatment.

The bus was being driven by a 38-year-old Italian woman who resides in Birkirkara.
