A man died this morning after a fork lifter toppled on him while he was working in Ghad-Dejma, limits of Mqabba, the police said.

The accident happened at 8.40am.

The police later said that the victim is a 51-year-old Filipino who lived in St Julian's.

He was certified dead on site.
