Man given suspended sentence for stealing €50 from his employer

A 26-year-old Bulgarian man pleaded guilty to the theft of €50 from his employer’s cash register while he was on duty.

He was charged with aggravated theft and was caught red-handed.

He pleaded guilty and was handed a 7-month jail term suspended for 18 months.

Inspector Frank Anthony Tabone appeared for the prosecution and Magistrate Audrey Demicoli presided.
