Cash was stolen by two armed men from a Gzira outlet on Thursday evening, the police said today.

Two men wearing a hoody, with one of them armed with a weapon, entered the shop at 9.50pm and demanded money from the assistant manning the shop, a 64-year-old.

They then made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The police are investigating while Magistrate Audrey Demicoli is conducting an inquiry.
