A seven-year-old boy from Birzebbuga was injured this morning after he was hit by a car in Birzebbuga

His condition is not yet known.

The accident took place in Triq il-Bajja s-Sabiha, corner with Misraħ is-Summit at 6.45am.

The police said the boy was hit by a Toyota Townace driven by a 29-year-old man from Mosta.
