An 18-year-old who was injured during a football training accident on Thursday evening is no longer critical, the police said this morning. 

The Albanian man who lives in Birzebbuga, was playing at Gudja football ground when he was hit in the head by another player. He was taken to hospital in an ambulance.

A magisterial inquiry is under way.
