Sixteen persons have been arrested by the police Rapid Intervention Union and Drug Squad in separate raids carried out last weekend.

The police said the arrested persons are Maltese and Britons aged between 16 and 35 years.

They were arrested in Paceville, Rabat and Selmun after being caught in possession of cocaine, ecstasy and cannabis resin.
