The Chamber of Advocates once again insisted that the court experts appointing system needs to be revised to make sure that the methods used are more transparent and based on objective criteria.
In a statement, the chamber said this had been the conclusion of the Bonello Commission report and yet the government has not changed the system, two years later.
The call comes in the wake of a judgment given by the Court of Appeal which ruled that it expected judges and magistrates to stop using the services of a calligraphy expert who was found to have a criminal record involving the falsification of documents.
