The Nationalist Party once again called upon the Prime Minister to publish the receipts of his Easter-time family holiday in Dubai.
In a statement, the PN said that it had made such a request but the Prime Minister, this morning, chose to make believe that he did not know about it.
This morning, when asked by The Malta Independent, Prime Minister Joseph Muscat said he was not aware that such a request had been made.
The PN this evening again requested the Prime Minister to publish receipts of the holiday.
It is in the public interest to find out how much the holiday cost and who paid for it, the PN said.
Busuttil 'scraping the bottom' - PL
In reply the Labour Party said the PN had reached ridiculous levels when asking for the receipts of a private visit which the PM had paid for personally.
It said that Dr Busuttil was demanding to see the receipts of the PM's private family holiday while he was still protecting his two deputy leaders who were refusing to publish the receipts for free works carried out at their homes as a gift. He was also refusing to publish the contract for the PN’s secret loan scheme.
Simon Busuttil was scraping the bottom of the barrel, the PL said.
