A woman was injured this morning after a bus was driven over her foot as she slipped off the pavement close to Mater Dei Hospital, the police said.

The 63-year-old of St Paul’s Bay was taken to hospital for treatment. The police later reported that the woman suffered grievous injuries.

The bus was being driven by a 57-year-old of Mtarfa.
