My website is mine

Sunday, 5 June 2016, 09:00 Last update: about 9 years ago

My website bears my name, hence it is mine. I do not use any pseudonym so that I can take full responsibility for what I write. If there is someone else behind Daphne Caruana Galizia’s website, she shouldn’t use her yardstick to measure others’

Who knows, it could be that Richard is the ghastly ghost behind her writing and, likewise, she hopes Joseph Muscat is behind mine.

Daphne Caruana Galizia claims to be a journalist; nevertheless she is an integral part of the PN slander machine. Like when she makes the not-so-honest error of calling me Gland instead of Glenn, to snigger at my double chin.

Could be she is inspired by her own double proportions, which she unashamedly tries to mask by black attire seven days a week or perhaps she got the inspiration from her sidekick, the infamous aptly-named Bocca who lately tweeted calling Ira Losco “bitch”, and Joseph Muscat a “m*th*r f*ck*r”.

How’s that for class?

She is both vulgar and a snob. An oxymoron it’s true, but she manages to surpass all depths.

In a country where free journalism reigns, all journalists do not just throw in their lot with one party. This has historically been the case in Malta unfortunately, with broadsides delivered at Labour, and Labour only.

My blog aims at reducing the deficit after long years of being on the receiving end and this clearly places me in the crosshairs.

Daphne Caruana Galizia should be the last person to attack ad hominem, in the most fascist way, whoever does not support the PN.

I don’t feel it is up to me to investigate for example how, when ostensibly all she did was write to please RCC and his clique, she still ended up with a million euro in her bank account. Nor do I have to for that matter: Please note that these details are public in the court case that the Inland Revenue Department have filed against her.

She has the undesirable distinction of having given birth to gutter journalism in Malta, full of personal attacks, while at the same time she does not expect the same in return.

The Nationalists are not used to falling under journalistic fire in the form of a blog that exposes their faults, so they attack me like they attack all who are against them. So far they have tried to silence me many times or asked the Prime Minister for whom I work, to sack me.

I am proud of my Labour past and look forward to serving the party more in the future.

The PN’s woes are mountainous: their machine is creaking to a halt and with Simon Busuttil the gears are in reverse, whereas speeding ahead are those whom DCG paints as turnips, idiots, hoi polloi and good for nothing.

On the contrary, these very same people have managed to raise the standard of living, improve the economy, reduce unemployment to a record low level and send PN’s woes to new heights.
