The Malta Independent online poll, which closed earlier today, showed that 32 percent of TMI readers believe Germany will win the championships. Second favourites are Italy with 21 percent, followed by England (21 percent), France (12 percent), Spain (nine percent), Belgium (five percent), Portugal (two percent) and Sweden (one percent). The remaining four percent believe another team from the remaining 16 participants will clinch the trophy.
