Two Somali men were taken to hospital after an argument at around 11:30am this morning in a residence in Birzebbugia, the Police said in a statement today.

The argument between the two men aged 30 and 41 took a violent turn when the 41 year-old broke a mirror and attacked the 30 year-old with it then subsequently jumped out of a second storey window to escape.

The man landed on a Fiat Punto and both men were taken to hospital. The younger man is suffering from light injuries while the 41 year-old who jumped out of the window is suffering from grievous injuries.

Investigations are currently ongoing.
