Terranova megastore, the largest of its kind on the island, officially opened its doors in Iklin offering the brand's largest and latest fashion selection for all the family. 

The megastore, located in a central prime location in Iklin, forms part of a total €1.6 million

investment by businesswoman Diane Izzo, who is planning to open a second Terranova megastore in Fgura in September.

The Iklin Terranova megastore is spread over 1,200 sq.m. and allows Ms Izzo to bring the full product line and collections from Terranova Italy. This now includes Terranova lingerie, beachwear, sportswear and eventually Terranova casa.

"I'm extremely excited to be opening this megastore. This concept has been in the pipeline for two years and we believe it's the way forward for Terranova," she said.

"The pull factor of Terranova is that you can look and feel great and sport the latest fashion trends without breaking the bank," Ms Izzo said.

Despite her foray into the world of luxury designer brands, Terranova remains very important to Ms Izzo. "Terranova signalled my first step in the fashion business 16 years ago and I plan to keep growing the business locally by investing €4 million in expanding and refurbishing all Terranova outlets in Malta."

These outlets are located at Bay Street, Valletta, Sta Venera and The Point in Sliema, and the plan is to bring them up to date to the megastore concept.

Ms Izzo's plans in the coming years will see her investing and expanding Terranova overseas in the near future.
