The Maltese-owned company, EC English Language Centres, has been featured in the official commemorative album for the Queen's 90th Birthday Celebration.
The Queen at 90' is a limited-edition publication created for The Queen's 90th Birthday Celebration held at Windsor Castle in May, and the only commemorative album sanctioned and endorsed by the event's organisers.
2016 also marks an important year in the history of EC as the company celebrates its 25th birthday. Since founding in 1991, EC has grown from one small school in Malta, to 24 award-winning schools in five countries.
EC's Executive Chairman Andrew Mangion said: "It feels somewhat serendipitous that EC English Language Schools should be celebrating its 25th anniversary in the same year as Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's 90th birthday."
At 472 pages in length, the fully illustrated book provides a rich photographic record of The Queen's life and tells her story from the excitement of her birth, through to her marriage, her accession to the throne and her subsequent reign of more than 60 years. It also reflects on the Commonwealth's role and influence during her lifetime.
As a limited edition, the book was presented as a gift to VVIP and VIP guests at The Queen's 90th Birthday Celebration at Windsor Castle from 12 to 15 May. The event celebrated The Queen's life, her dedication to the Commonwealth and international affairs, her involvement with the Navy, Army, Air Force, and her love of horses. A limited number have been made available for retail sale to the public as a souvenir of this historic occasion.
