Highest apparent temperature will reach 39C in next few days

The latest weather prediction for the next few days for the Maltese islands shows that apparent highest temperatures will reach 39C at least until mid-next week due to a high pressure system which is moving from Southern Europe over the central Mediterranean, weather website firstmalta.com reports.

The sky is expected to be sunny and clear throughout the next few days.

Temperatures for Thursday 7 July are expected to reach an Apparent High of 39C, High 32C and a low 23C. Wind North Force 3 later veers North East

Friday 8 July, Apparent Highest temperature of 38C, high 32C, low 21C, Wind East North East, Force 2 / 3

Saturday 9 July is expected to be slightly windier with a North West wind blowing at Force 3 and at times reaches F4. Nevertheless the highest apparent temperature will still reach 39C, high 34C, Low 21C.

Sunday 10 July, Highest apparent temperature of 38C, High 33C, Low 20C, Wind North West Force 2 / 3 later veers West

Monday 11 July, once again the highest apparent temperature will reach 39C, high 34C, low 20C, wind West Force 3

Tuesday 12 July, Apparent Highest temperature 39C, High 33C, Low 21C, Wind west Force 2 / 3

Wednesday 13 July, Apparent Highest temperature 38C, High 33C, Low 20C, Wind West North West Force 2 / 3

The prediction below shows the high pressure levels at the moment, depicted in light orange is an area of higher pressure which is moving towards the Central Mediterranean and as a result over the Maltese islands.
