A man was injured this afternoon after he was squashed by a truck in Swieqi.

The incident took place at around 3.45pm in Triq il-Vittmi tal-Gwerra.

The police have confirmed that a man was injured but no other information is available at this time.

Fire engines were seen rushing to the site. According to one report the man suffered injuries to one of his legs.
